Overview
SIUE’s Interpersonal Communication track examines the core processes behind everyday interactions, including message production, interpretation, and the use of verbal and nonverbal communication. Students explore how communication shapes relationships across personal and professional contexts, including friendships, families, workplaces, and more. Coursework covers interpersonal, intercultural, and small group communication, along with social influence and research methods.
